Elise Schebler Roberts is a quilt historian and writer who has been quilting for nearly twenty years.She is listed in the Minnesota Folk Artists Roster, is a member of the Minnesota Quilter’s Guild, and works to preserve quilt history as a member of the Minnesota Quilt Project.
Previously the Curator of Education at the State Historical society in Iowa, she now owns her own business called Quilted Life, where she teaches quilt classes and creates custom quilts for clients.
She is a doctoral candidate in Education at the University of St. Thomas. Elise has written numerous articles and is a contributing author to the Minnesota Quilts: Creating Connections with Our Past and Around the Quilt Frame, both published by Voyager Press.She lives in the TwinCities with her husband, James, son Andrew, and daughter Miranda.
